Hand winches up to 2000 kg

Hand winches are hoists that are manually driven. These devices are somewhat similar to pulleys. But where a hand winch is responsible for lifting, pulling and holding a load, a pulley functions only to change the direction of pull of a rope/winch.

In addition, most types of hand winches can both hoist and pull the load and the load can be held in any position. All hand winches are braked (have a brake clutch) so the load is held when the control is released. This prevents an uncontrolled fall of the load.
