Each new hoist is warranted against manufacturing and material defects for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase.
STEEL WIRE ROPES ARE NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.

Never toggle (shift in rapid succession without pausing) the winch, i.e. drive straight up and down or up and down for short stretches.

Give the winch time to release its energy.

Pull the cable.

Prevent the cable from warping and becoming slack. If that happens, the cable will be pulled through the lower layers and get stuck or run off the drum.

Never try to disconnect the cable with the winch itself. This will destroy the motor.
