Lime-Rope has a very high breaking strength, even higher than comparable steel rope. Thanks to its unique construction, the rope stays perfectly round and does not get flattened, even in the lower layers on the drum where the load is highest.
Where standard winch rope deforms and rolls up badly, Lime-Rope keeps winding neatly without problems - time after time.
Perfect coiling, without fuss
Steel rope behaves like a spring: as soon as the tension drops, the rope wants to relax. This often leads to loose jumping, bad windings and even knots. Therefore, steel cables often require compression rollers.
Lime-Rope retains its shape, effortlessly follows the curvature of the drum and stays tight - even without tension. A pressure roller is unnecessary.
Extra protection through clever sheathing
The rope is equipped with an extra smooth, protective sheath - a kind of armor. This sheath reduces wear, protects against damage and contributes to smooth and even winding.
